Almost like a simple race of snakes and ladders, players just have to reach the finish line first. However, unlike most roll and move games, there is an awful amount of planning involved. Players have complete control over when to shift gears, with each gear providing a different speed (4th gear involves rolling a dice that only has numbers 7 to 12 for spaces moved). Within every turn, players can either gear up or gear down, or remain the same. This is very important because the corners and bends on the map have rules that require players to stop a set amount of times on that corner or face a penalty. Therefore, players need to manage exactly when to slow down and when to speed up, with a bit of luck involved as well.
There are other penalties within their game, include missing their roll, blocking another car, braking heavily, etc. These apply negative effects to the car's attributes, etc.
